Your data cannot be recovered. This is by design: if we can't access it, neither can anyone else. Write your master password down and store it somewhere safe.
Is my data backed up to the cloud?
No. Everything stays on your device. You can create encrypted backups protected by a separate passphrase and store them wherever you choose.
